Gosh Its been forever since I made a post.
I am now feeling a significant amount of empathy for anyone who resides in a Baltic country like Finland,Denmark,Sweden or anywhere it gets cold and dreary over the winter months.
Yes Winter is well and truly here in New Zealand.

So many things happening in this great country at the moment.
We have the Rugby world cup build up at the moment and we have just had our new budget from the government.

Coffee sales are up and the mental health of the population is going down every day.
We have a New Zealander confined in a Jap Jail because he tried to be a pirate...stupid boy, all of that for a whale. I have to say that I think he is a very misguided individual, although he has achieved deity status by the Ferrel brigade as the great whale saver.
15 years in a jap jail should help adjust his attitude a little.

Why are these do-gooders so pre-occupied with this benign hunting practise if it was proven that the whale or in particular the minke whale was in jeopardy of extinction, it would be stopped.
Now don't mis-interpret my ethics and conservationist bend, I am a conservationist but not a overly emotional political science graduate who has too much time on my hands.

In my mind we should be focusing on the real issues like human starvation and disease first. I mean we manage to go by every hour of every day quite happy to know that ( and if you don't know you are either clinically dead or living in a social vacuum) That every 3 seconds a child dies from starvation and disease. ..Stop and think abbout that for one minute...................... 20 children died while you thought about that for a minute.
So at the risk of sounding like a heartless animal hater I say
Build a bridge Greenpeace and re-focus.
